Grenache is one of the most widely planted red wine grapes in the world.
Most Grenache-based wines are often somewhat low in acid with very supple tannins, making them easy to drink. Consumers have begun to want more Grenache, so we say let's do it!
Grenache can come from all over the world. California’s winemakers are making some wonderful Grenache. The most distinguished are well-balanced with compelling aromas, bright red fruits, and a hint of spiciness.
Tablas Creek Vineyard, Halter Ranch, Beaucastle and Priest Ranch will be presenting their Grenache at this seminar.
