Pascal Boyé was born in Libourne, France from a family of Bordeaux vintners. The last of a tribe of six children, he grew up to become a quietly determined personality. After studying civil engineering in Bordeaux, he flew to the US at the early age of 22 to study computer sciences and English. During his two-year stay in Florida, Boyé had the opportunity to experience life to its fullest.

But his passion for wine called him back to his homeland where he returned in 1986 to start in the wine business, exporting some of the finest Bordeaux all over Europe, United States and South America. For 7 years, he was a Sales Manager at the Compagnie Médocaine des Grands Crus (a part AXA Millésimes), in charge of the most important markets worldwide - USA, Canada, South America, England, Germany, Ireland, and Switzerland.

He was then selected to open and direct the New York office for AXA, called Chateaux & Associés, where he had the occasion to manage a dream portfolio: Château Lynch-Bages, and Château Pichon Longueville Baron in Pauillac, Château Petit-Village in Pomerol, Château Franc Mayne in St Emilion, Château Cantenac Brown in Margaux, Château Suduiraut in Sauternes, and the Michel Lynch brand all from Bordeaux, as well as Quinta do Noval from Portugal and Disznoko from Tokay, Hungary. Thanks to his tireless energy and his connections in the wine business, Boyé found the right importers for all the brands he managed. Such efforts paid off, and in 1998, the New York office reached a turnover of $10 million.

His next career move brought him to Champagne when he was tapped by Centre-Vinicole, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte to manage their growing brand in the United States. Boyé spent the next 15 years tirelessly working with a national importer in the US, then found distribution for the brand in Mexico, Canada and South America. Under his firm direction, the brand grew from 19,000 cases in 2000 to more than 70,000 cases in 2013. By 2008, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte had secured its position as a Top 3 Champagne Brand internationally, and a Top 4 Brand in the US market. In 2009, he played a key role in securing a new American importer, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates based in Woodinville, WA.

In 2016, Boyé took on a new challenge by become VP of sales development in North America with Champagne Collet. This Aÿ based, well-established boutique House is known since 1921 for it elegant and refined champagnes coming from Premier Crus and above vineyards. Mr. Boyé’s role is again to find the right distribution channel in the US, and to continue building relationships with Canadian Liquor Boards as well as opening markets in Central and South America such as Mexico and Brasil. With a totally revamped global marketing campaign, great recognition for its quality level with medals and awards from all over the world, the brand is set to become a key player in the North American market.
