Jack Ridenour attended the Western Culinary Institute and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Culinary Management. Ridenour takes pride in training culinary students from all over the world. He describes his biggest challenge as providing the freshest food at an elevation of 10,350 feet. Jack oversees a high volume upscale cafeteria, a fine diningtable service restaurant, a pizzeria, and convention services. In the summer he also manages an outdoor smoked meat operation.

Ridenour joined the Vail Resorts' family in 1995 as a cook at Trail's End Bar & Grill and is now entering his third season as Executive Chef at Eagle's Nest. Previously Ridenour spent four years as Executive Chef at Wildwood Smokehouse in the winter and alternated as Chef de Cuisine at Red Sky Golf Club in the summer.
