Fabiola Meraz, proudly Potosi, originally from the Huasteca region. Starting in the communication profession, and after practicing for eight years in that environment decided to dedicate herself to her greatest passion, cooking.
She studied the Culinary Arts certificate from the Culinary Institute of America in New York and the Anahuac del Sur University, where as a student, she won first place in the Traditional Mexican Cooking Competition, presenting a version of Zacahuil Huasteco.
In early 2020 she participated as Delegate of Mexico in Parabere Forum, an Association that promotes the equal participation of women in the Hospitality Industry, whose headquarters that year was in Istanbul, Turkey.
She is the Founder of the ELLAS SE JUNTAN Initiative where her goal is to achieve greater recognition to the Women Chefs, Mixologas and Sommeliers of Puerto Vallarta.
Chef Fabiola will be participating in all 4 Signature Events for Taste of Vail 2023.
