Hugo Del Pozzo is the co-founder of Pinea, along side childhood friend Vicentea the winery was founded with a simple but ambitious purpose: to produce world class Tempranillo wines in the Ribera del Duero.

85 acres of mature vineyards - some over 90 years old, located in the highest elevations of Ribera del Duero where extreme climate conditions help the Tempranillo develop its character. The winery's philosophy is to apply passionate viticulture (organic, DB) and attention to detail in the winemaking process to let the fruit be the star. Pinea wines capture the elusive combination of perfumy aromatics and complexity, with unique sense of place, structure and depth.
