Christophe assumed the position of Commercial Director at historic Chateau La Nerthe in 2009, following in the footsteps of his father, Georges. Prior to 2009, Christophe, also a Certified Sommelier, worked in Chile where he helped set up Kankura, a boutique winery located in the heart of the Colchagua Valley. At Kankura, he was involved in all key steps of viticulture, winemaking and distribution. While in South America, Christophe launched Jeroboam Vins Fins, a company that distributed prestigious Burgundy wines like Domaine des Lambrays in overseas markets. His love for the wines of Burgundy has never left him. Christophe majored in Finance and International Marketing, graduating from EdHEC Business School in France. Before joining the wine world, he navigated the intricacies of investment banking in Frankfurt, New York and London. Today he lives in Vaison-la-Romaine with his wife and two children.
