Matthew Regan is the Vice PresidentPartner of VGS Chateau Potelle Winery in the Napa Valley. Matthew joined Chateau Potelle in 2000, and now manages all aspects of the VGS experience. Prior to his appointment at VGS Chateau Potelle, Matthew managed the Dining Room and Wine Program at the prestigious Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee. Mr. Regan is a graduate with multiple degrees from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Having established VGS as one of Napa Valley’s premier food and wine destinations, Matthew’s career mirror’s the wineries spirit and vision of hospitality and quality without pretension. Working as the right-hand to proprietor Jean-Noel Fourmeaux for the past 16 years, Matthew embodies the essence of VGS and is dedicated to furthering Chateau Potelle’s legacy as one of the premier boutique wineries in the Napa Valley.

VGS Chateau Potelle has been producing small lots of handcrafted wines from the Napa Valley since 1983, including Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced primarily from vineyards on Mt. Veeder in the Napa Valley. VGS wines are available only at the Tasting House and Garden in St. Helena, online at and in select restaurants. The Tasting House and Garden, features wines paired with food bites from the Michelin starred La Toque Restaurant and welcomes guests daily from 10 am – 5 pm; reservations required. Wine Club members receive discounts on wine, the tasting experience and access to its seasonal “Lunch Above the Clouds,” a five-course lunch and wine tasting in the Mt. Veeder vineyard.
