Taste of Vail Launches Special Promotion to Celebrate its 20th Anniversary

Couples Celebrating their 20th Wedding Anniversary Could Win Tickets to the Annual Event
Vail, Colo. - March 9, 2010 - To celebrate its 20th year of bringing the Vail lifestyle to thousands each spring, Taste of Vail has announced a special contest to share the fun - free - with some lucky couples that are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary in 2010.
Couples celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary in 2010 can win free tickets for two to two legendary Taste of Vail events, the Grand Tasting and the Mountaintop Picnic, plus seats at the all-new Aphrodisiac Foods Seminar hosted by Master of Gastronomy Amy Reiley, author of "Fork Me, Spoon Me".
To enter, couples must submit a picture of themselves either from current times or on the day they said, "I do." Five winners will be selected with the Grand Prize winner receiving two tickets to the Grand Tasting, Mountaintop Picnic and Aphrodisiac Seminar. The four runners up will receive tickets for two to the Aphrodisiac Seminar. To enter:
• Submit a picture of you and your significant other on the Taste of Vail Facebook Fan Page at www.facebook.com/tasteofvail or via email at my20thTOV@gmail.com. Please note your name and wedding date with your submission.
• Friends and family of the couple are also free to submit for them.
• Submissions must be received by March 20, 2010.
• Winners will be selected at random. One entry per couple.

Taste of Vail is the nation's premier spring food and wine festival, held at several venues throughout North America's most popular mountain resort. In addition to the new seminars offered during the 20th Annual Taste of Vail, popular signature events will return such as the 6th Annual Colorado Lamb Cookoff and Apres Ski Tasting, Mounaintop Picnic at 10,350 foot above sea level on Vail Mountain and the Grand Tasting. Ticket prices begin at $4 for the Colorado Lamb Cookoff or attendees can purchase a $60 all-you-can eat and drink wristband for the competition. The Mountaintop Picnic is $135 with tickets for the Grand Tasting $150.
All proceeds from the Taste of Vail benefit local non-profit organizations in the Vail Valley such as the Red Ribbon Project, Boarder to Boarder, Food Banks of Eagle County, Shaw Regional Cancer Center, Eagle County Hospice, Jazz Goes to Schools, and the Vail Valley Youth Foundation to name a few.
