Buy Early and Save for the 25th Annual Taste of Vail Food and Wine Festival

Give the gift of Taste of Vail this holiday season as tickets to the 25th anniversary celebration April 8-11, 2015 are on sale now through the end of the year. Save up to 20 percent on ticket prices when purchased before Dec. 31, 2014.

"Those who are looking for a unique holiday gift for the wine-enthusiasts of the family should look no further," said Chris Chantler, chairman of the Taste of Vail board. "Taste of Vail's the only festival where participants can meet with the winemakers and vineyard owners pouring at each signature event. This is our biggest sale of the season and prices will only go up from here."

Taste of Vail offers a variety of ticket options for the 2015 event including a Signature Event Pass and special seminar packs. The Signature Event Pass provides access to the 11th Annual American Lamb Cookoff & Apres Ski Tasting, Mountaintop Picnic and Grand Tasting for $320 (regular $385). New Four and Six-Pack Seminar passes also are available for attendees to experience a wide range of entertaining and educational sessions. The Four-Pack is on sale for $110 (regular $150) and the Six-Pack is currently $150 (regular $185). These seminar packs are non-transferrable and guests will need to sign up for individual sessions once they are announced.

Individual event tickets also are on sale now with the 2nd Annual Debut of Rosé available for $40 (regular $50), the signature Mountaintop Picnic available for $110 (regular $135) and the Grand Tasting for $140 (regular $175).

The 25th Annual Taste of Vail has already established an impressive list of participating wineries, including many that have been with the event since the near-beginning such as Grgich Hill Cellars, Gloria Ferrer, Saintsbury, ZD Winery and Louis Latour. Additional wineries include Rotie Cellars, Vineyard 29, Scott Harvey Wines and Darioush, all of which are known for world-class winemaking standards and pedigrees.

Taste of Vail kicks off on Wednesday, April 8 with the 2nd Annual Debut of Rosé. After a wildly successful inaugural event in 2014, the Debut of Rosé will give guests the chance to experience just released 2014 rosés for first time. The event will have more than 100 rosé varietals to sample.

On Thursday, April 9 enjoy the 11th Annual American Lamb Cook-Off and Après Ski Tasting in heart of Vail Village. Sample an array of lamb dishes courtesy of the Vail Valley's greatest chefs and the American Lamb Board. In the theme of "Life Beyond Chardonnay, Cabernet and Merlot," Taste of Vail's participating wineries will be showcasing a wide array of varietals, which include Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Zinfandel.

The Mountaintop Picnic takes place on Friday, April 10 at the top of Vail Mountain. At 10,350 feet above sea level, enjoy a spectacular view while a number of highly acclaimed Vail Valley chefs prepare a gourmet feast paired perfectly with Taste of Vail wineries.

Experience the grandest of all wine and food tastings on Saturday, April 11 as Taste of Vail's annual Grand Tasting finds a new home at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences in the center of Vail. The signature event will feature all of Taste of Vail's wineries and restaurants and will include a special Silent Auction.
