Aside from hosting dozens of winemakers and vineyard owners from all over the world, Taste of Vail also creates a thoughtful lineup of seminars that provide a more intimate learning experience for participants. Featured seminars include pairing demonstrations using cigars, cocktails, food and wine along with further education on lesser-known varietals showcased at Taste of Vail April 8-11.

"Developing seminars for our guests is one our favorite aspects of Taste of Vail," said Angela Mueller, executive director of the Taste of Vail. "As we celebrate 25 years, the pressure is on to create a fun and unique lineup of seminars that complement our signature events and get participants excited."

New for the 25th anniversary, guests are able to experience a Farm-to-Table Breakfast on Friday, April 10 that showcases dishes made from Colorado-grown foods paired with lively breakfast wines such as champagne and sparkling. In addition, the seminar also will feature pairings such as New Zealand whites and interesting blends to complete the event prior to Friday's Mountain Top Picnic.

On Saturday, April 11, wine expert Josh Wesson returns to present "Many Sips to Enlightenment." Though best known as the co-founder of retail store Best Cellars in New York City, for 30 years Wesson has been a featured expert on food and wine pairing for numerous publications and television shows such as The Today Show and Good Morning America. For the seminar, participants are taught to pair a variety of wine varietals with one dish.

Also on April 11, guests can participate in speed dating-type seminar where winemakers showcase their signature domestic cabernets at "Unrivaled American Cabernet Sauvignon." With four tables set up to host four different winemakers, the seminar provides a unique opportunity to taste a stellar lineup of cabernet sauvignon while learning and discussing the origins, inspirations and process of production.

Additional information on seminars showcased at the 25th anniversary of Taste of Vail will be released in the coming weeks and can be found on www.tasteofvail.com.
