Vail, Colo., October 23, 2018--The Taste of Vail, one of the nation's top food and wine festivals, and one of the few events in the country that invites dozens of winemakers and owners from all over the world to pour wine and interact with participants, is announcing early ticket pricing for the upcoming spring event on April 3-6, 2019. Food and wine lovers can save on tickets if they purchase tickets now through December 31, 2018.
The 29th Annual Taste of Vail features more than 30 guest chefs, restaurateurs, and sommeliers as well as more than 55 top wineries from around the world. Over the five-day festival attendees experience signature events designed to showcase iconic locations including the 2018 Debut of Rosé, The American Lamb Cook-Off and Après Ski Tasting, The Mountain Top Tasting and the Grand Tasting as well as seminars, intimate wine pop ups, dinners and more.

The Taste of Vail experience makes for the perfect holiday gift for your favorite oenophile and foodie. Tickets for all Taste of Vail Events are now on sale at the lowest rate of the season. Debut of 2018 Rosé: $50, January 1 price increases to $59
American Lamb Cook-Off: $65, January 1 price increases to $85
Mountain Top Tasting: $120, January 1 price increases to $150

More About the Taste of Vail Signature Events
The Taste of Vail kicks off the afternoon of April 3 with The Debut of 2018 Rosé. This is the first event in the country where attendees will have the opportunity to sample the first of the 2018 releases from around the Northern Hemisphere. This event showcases more than 100 selections of rosés-one of the largest in the United States. New this year, the Debut of Rosé will be held on Vail Mountain at Mid-Vail.
On Thursday, April 4, the festivities move to Vail Village for the annual American Lamb Cook-Off & Après Ski Tasting. Walk the streets of iconic Vail Village while local chefs showcase their finest lamb dishes to the public and compete for prizes in the cook-off. Guest vintners from across the country also will serve wine varietals to complement the lamb tastings.
The Mountain Top Tasting on Vail Mountain on Friday April 5, is unlike any other food and wine event. The tasting is located at 10,350 feet above sea level in a hand-built snow arena that overlooks the scenic Rocky Mountains, chefs from Vail's top restaurants serve small plates highlighting their culinary expertise while top winemakers offer selections of their finest wines. Ticket holders can ski to the event or take the Eagle Bahn Gondola out of Lionshead to access the signature on-mountain tasting.
Taste of Vail wraps up on Saturday, April 6, with the Grand Tasting & Auction. The Grand Tasting is the culmination of the four-day event, with Vail chefs showcasing their most creative fare alongside wineries from across the country serving their best and most current vintages.
Attendees in 2019 will have a variety of additional options to make their Taste of Vail experience even more diverse with intimate wine tastings and seminars with vintners and winery owners, parties throughout town and educational seminars throughout the week. Additional details coming soon.
