In 1859 thousands of gold seekers flocked to Colorado, taking part in one of the greatest gold rushes in North American history. These prospectors were known as "Fifty-Niners." At Carboy, we consider ourselves prospectors of a different kind, harvesting world-class grapes of exceptional quality from the Grand Valley and using only the finest to produce our signature Vin ‘59 blend - a wine as rich as fortunes made in 1859 and our way of honoring those pioneers.
