Slide Hill Vineyard is a Demeter certified Biodynamic farm located in the southeastern portion of the Edna Valley, near Arroyo Grande in San Luis Obispo County.  Hand picked and native yeast fermented with minimal intervention, this Syrah was aged for 16 months in neutral French oak barrels giving the wine rich, smooth flavors and a lingering finish. 

In close proximity to the Pacific Ocean with steep slopes and well-drained loam soils, Slide Hill Vineyard is the perfect site for growing Rhone varieties.  Our 2019 Syrah shows off all the classic cool climate characteristics that we know and love.  Savory notes of black olive and truffle give way to warming cinnamon stick, dried thyme, fresh brewed coffee and tangy blackberry jam.  Bottled 73 cases on March 22, 2021.
